With 900 years of experience in producing leather goods and footwear, the English county of Northamptonshire has an unrivalled pedigree in the manufacture of leather goods. The area is connected with iconic leather shoe manufacturers such as Jeffery West and Crockett & Jones, to name a few.  Life started for Numero 1972 in the heart of this region, in the centre of traditional English leather craftsmanship.   Years of dedication and understanding of technics used by leather artisans were studied and explored.  The journey was invaluable in ensuring we crafted leather articles of the highest standard and we experimented with numerous leather tanneries and hardware manufacturers to guarantee the finest end result for our clients.

Moving forward to present day, Numero 1972 made the creative decision to move base to the cultural city of Malaga, Spain.  The birth place of Picasso, the rich history of Moorish rule,  the Roman theatre and narrow cobbled streets lined with orange trees provide inspiration for any artisans.  Colour, design and European flair added to our past has provided Numero 1972 the inspiration to create leather goods unique to the industry.  Quality over quantity.
